The Lego Movie Videogame - Wii U

Transform the ordinary into the extraordinary and experience the ultimate LEGO building experience in the all new The LEGO® Movie Videogame. Step into the world of Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average citizen who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Players guide him as he is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. Enjoy a delightful and surprising mix of over 90 characters as seen from the film including Batman, Superman, the Green Ninja, Gandalf and more in 15 exciting levels.

Take advantage of the unique GamePad for multiplayer action - one player is on the TV and one is on the GamePad screen. No more split screen.

  • Smash more bricks in a fascinating environment made of LEGO bricks.
  • Collect and use LEGO instruction pages to build in a new way.
  • Journey through fantastical worlds like Flatbush Gulch, Cloud Cuckoo Land and more!
  • Harness the awesome power of the Master Builders to virtually build extraordinary LEGO creations.
  • Enjoy a brand new animation style as seen in the film that simulates the movement of actual LEGO toy sets.
  • Play with friends and family using easy drop-in/drop-out co-op play that features dynamic split screen

Another great Lego game March 22, 2014
Reviewer: Sierra
The game has lots of levels and is suitable for all ages. The Lego games have been favorites at our home for years and this one doesn't disappoint. Hours of fun and enjoyment.

Fun for the whole family March 5, 2014
Reviewer: Amanda
I have two boys age 5 and 7 and they have so much fun playing this game. They are perfectly happy playing in free play. The upper levels are a little tough for them.

However I would say my favorite thing about this game is the two player mode. On the Wii U they have made it to where each player can go where they want, player one on the game pad and player two on the TV. This is a big relief because it takes away the arguments of where to go, instead they are able to laugh and enjoy the game. I think this game is a great buy. The game follows the movie very close and has clips from the movie every step of the way, which again my boys who are big fans of the movie say this is their favorite game to play.

Yet another steller Wii U lego title February 16, 2014
Reviewer: Alberto H.
If you've played the other lego games this isn't a big departure or advancement. But it is a continuation of a fun and tested formula. The 2 player co-op mode with the game pad is extremely useful and a thousand times better then split screen game play and less confusing for the kids. This is the definitive version because of this, the gamepad truly makes it shine.

Great fun game February 15, 2014
Reviewer: Natty G.
Another great game from the Lego company. Its real easy to play, great for kids and adults, and no violence. Easy to get to levels, colorful and really creative. We just got it and are so excited to add this game to our Lego collection of games.

And my intelligent 11 year old is THRILLED with his money well spent. We also saw the movie, and we both think the game is better. (and FAR less preachy.)
